2021 ACCOMPLISHMENTS: THE PONDEROSA QUARTERBACK CLUB SUPPORTED THREE HIGHSCHOOL LEVEL FOOTBALL TEAMS IN 2021. THERE WAS A TOTAL OF AROUND 150 PLAYERS IN 2021. THE CLUB IS TO SUPPORT ALL TEAMS AT ALL LEVELS FOR PONDEROSA HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL. THE GOAL IS TO LEARN FOOTBALL SKILLS, TEAMWORK, AND PRINCIPLES OF HEALTH. IN 2021 THERE WERE APPROXIMATELY 8 PLAYERS THAT WENT ON TO PLAY COLLEGE FOOTBALL. THE VARSITY TEAM MADE IT INTO THE SECOND ROUND OF THE STATE PLAYOFFS AND FINISHED THE SEASON WITH A RECORD OF 7 AND 5. 2022 GOALS: IN 2022 THE PONDEROSA QUARTERBACK CLUB WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPORT ALL LEVELS OF THE TEAM. THE TEAM WILL GO TO A SUMMER CAMP AT CSU PUEBLO IN JUNE AND A TEAM BUILDING CAMP IN AUGUST. THE CLUB WILL BE PURCHASING NEW EQUIPMENT SUCH AS JERSEYS, HELMETS, SHOULDER PADS, SLEDS, GUARDIAN CAPS, AND OTHER TRAINING EQUIPMENT TO SUPPORT THE TEAM IN THE FUTURE. THE TEAM IS LOOKING FORWARD TO A SUCCESSFUL SEASON WITH AROUND 150 PLAYERS IN 2022.
