THE PURPOSE OF COMMON CHORD IS TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES TO LEARN ABOUT AND EXPERIENCE MUSIC; OPPORTUNITIES THAT THE QUAD CITIES COMMUNITY WOULD NOT OTHERWISE BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN WITHOUT THE ORGANIZATION'S EXISTENCE. SINCE COMMON CHORD'S INCEPTION, MYRIAD UNIQUE MUSIC-EDUCATION PROGRAMS HAVE BEEN INTRODUCED TO THOUSANDS OF CHILDREN AND YOUTH WHO HAVE, IN TURN, PERFORMED THEIR OWN MUSIC ON COMMON CHORD STAGES AND GROWN EXPONENTIALLY AS MUSICIANS AND INDIVIDUALS.THE IMPACT OF COMMON CHORD ON THE QUAD CITIES COMMUNITY AND THE REGION IS IMMEASUREABLE, THOUGH ABSOLUTELY TANGIBLE AND PROFOUND.
