AFRICA RENEWAL MINISTRIES (ARM OR ORGANIZATION) RECEIVES FUNDS FROM DONORS AND THEN ADMINISTERS DONATIONS, OFFERINGS, GIFTS AND OTHER CONTRIBUTIONS VIA WIRE TRANSFERS FOR GENERAL AND RESTRICTED GRANT PURPOSES TO AFRICA RENEWAL MINISTRIES IN UGANDA (ARM UGANDA), A REGISTERED NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATION (NGO) GOVERNED BY THE UGANDA MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS. ARM UGANDA MAINTAINS ACCOUNTING SYSTEMS, PROCESSES AND CONTROLS FOR TRACKING FUNDS RECEIVED. THEIR FINANCIAL STATEMENTS ARE AUDITED ANNUALLY BY AN INDEPENDENT PUBLIC ACCOUNTING FIRM. ARM UGANDA IS ENHANCING ITS MONITORING AND FUNCTIONALITY TO PROVIDE TIMELY AND STREAMLINED ACCOUNTING PROCESSES, TOGETHER WITH CENTRALIZED FINANCIAL OPERATIONS, AND HAS AN INTERNAL AUDITOR ON STAFF WHO MONITORS THE USE OF FUNDS ACROSS THE LOCAL FIELD OFFICES.
