DONOR ADVISED FUNDS: CAF AMERICA CURRENTLY OPERATES DONOR ADVISED FUNDS (DAFS) THAT IN FY23 GAVE OVER 694,000 GRANTS TOTALING $599.7M. WE PARTNER WITH U.S. CORPORATE, INDIVIDUAL AND FOUNDATION DONORS WHO SUPPORT ORGANIZATIONS IN 105 COUNTRIES.
REVENUE AND EXPENSES PERTAINING TO THE OPERATION AND MANAGEMENT OF PROGRAM SERVICES THAT IS NOT ALLOCABLE TO ANY FUND OR TYPE OF FUND.
DONOR ADVISED GIFTS: IN FY23, DONORS WORKED WITH CAF AMERICA TO MAKE 1,039 SINGLE DONOR ADVISED GIFTS (DAGS) TOTALING $65.5M. SINGLE GIFTS ENABLE DONORS TO RECOMMEND GRANTS WITHOUT ESTABLISHING A SPECIFIC FUND AT CAF AMERICA. THIS PROGRAM SERVES AS A COMPLEMENT TO CAF AMERICA'S PHILANTHROPIC ADVISORY SERVICES AND IS A RESOURCE FOR DONORS INTERESTED IN SUPPORTING A VARIETY OF CAUSES.
FRIENDS FUNDS: FRIENDS FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO INTERNATIONAL CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS TO USE AS A TOOL TO INCREASE SUPPORT FROM AMERICAN DONORS. DURING FY23, DONORS WORKED WITH CAF AMERICA TO MAKE 271 GRANTS TO 26 FOREIGN CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS WHO HAVE ESTABLISHED FRIENDS FUNDS WITH CAF AMERICA. THIS CAF AMERICA PROGRAM ENABLES APPROVED FOREIGN CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS TO CONNECT WITH US DONORS WITHOUT CREATING THEIR OWN U.S. IRC SECTION 501(C)(3) ENTITY.
