THE MISSION OF THE HAWTHORN FOUNDATION IS TO SERVE AS A PRIVATE BUSINESS RECRUITMENT AND MARKETING ORGANIZATION FOR THE STATE OF MISSOURI, BY WORKING IN COOPERATION WITH BUSINESSES AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OFFICIALS TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE INNOVATIVE MARKETING PROGRAMS AND TRADE MISSIONS TARGETING MISSOURI BUSINESS RECRUITMENT, AND TO CREATE AND SUPPORT CUTTING-EDGE INITIATIVES THAT ARE FOCUSED ON EXPANDING ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES FOR MISSOURI.

Part 3 - Line 4a

ASSISTS THE MISSOURI GOVERNOR, THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, AND OTHER ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT GROUPS IN ENHANCING THE BUSINESS CLIMATE OF MISSOURI. PROVIDES FUNDS TO THE MISSOURI PARTNERSHIP TO PROMOTE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN MISSOURI. HOSTED LUNCH AND DINNER MEETINGS FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT WITH REPRESENTATIVES FROM VARIOUS COMPANIES AND TO ENCOURAGE INVESTMENT IN MISSOURI BUSINESSES AND THE RELOCATION OF BUSINESSES TO MISSOURI.


THE BRAC PROGRAM IS FOCUSED ON MILITARY PREPAREDNESS AND TRACKS AND OVERSEES POTENTIAL ACTIONS REGARDING MILITARY INSTALLATIONS IN THE STATE OF MISSOURI AND THE RESULTING IMPACT CHANGES THAT THE INSTALLATIONS WOULD HAVE ON MISSOURI BUSINESSES AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT.


THE MISSOURI INNOVATION CAMPUS COLLABORATIVE FOCUSES ON EXPANDING THE INNOVATION CAMPUS PARTNERSHIP AND COMPETENCY BASED LEARNING MODEL IN PUBLIC UNIVERSITIES ACROSS THE STATE.
