GOVERNMENT RELATIONS, INSURANCE AND LEGAL ADVOCACY - THE PROFESSION'S LEADERSHIP ORGANIZATION SERVES AS AN AGGRESSIVE ADVOCATE FOR THE CHIROPRACTIC PROFESSION AND THEIR PATIENTS. ACA SEEKS OPEN ACCESS TO AND UTILIZATION OF SAFE, EFFECTIVE, AFFORDABLE, NATURAL CHIROPRACTIC CARE FOR ALL THROUGH FULL INTEGRATION OF DOCTORS OF CHIROPRACTIC INTO THE HEALTHCARE DELIVERY SYSTEM. ACA ACCOMPLISHES THIS BY DEVOTING A SUBSTANTIAL PART OF ITS RESOURCES TO ISSUES THAT AFFECT PUBLIC POLICY AND LEGISLATION, BY SEEKING PARITY IN REIMBURSEMENT OF ITS MEMBERS FROM INSURANCE COMPANIES, IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF TREATMENT AND BY CARRYING OUT A DYNAMIC STRATEGIC PLAN TO HELP ENSURE THE PROFESSIONAL GROWTH AND SUCCESS OF DOCTORS OF CHIROPRACTIC.
