OUR MISSION IS TO HELP STUDENTS DISCOVER, BUILD, AND START LIVING A LIFE OF GREATNESS. WE DESIRE TO WALK ALONGSIDE STUDENTS AS THEY DISCOVER GOD'S PLAN AND PURPOSE FOR THEIR LIVES. WE THEN TRAIN YOUNG PEOPLE TO SEE THAT THEIR FAITH IS NOT LIMITED TO THEIR OWN "PERSONAL WALK WITH JESUS," BUT THAT JESUS CHRIST WANTS TO INFLUENCE AND REIGN OVER EVERY AREA OF LIFE.
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
WE ACCOMPLISH OUR MISSION BY HOSTING CAMPUS MEETINGS, SMALL GROUP BIBLE STUDIES, COOK-OUTS, TRAININGS, ENCOUNTERS, EVENTS WITH FOOD AND OTHER RELATIONAL ACTIVITIES. THESE ACTIVITIES ARE ALL DESIGNED TO BRING THE LIVING GOSPEL INTO STUDENTS' LIVES. A CONTINUED COMMITMENT TO EVANGELISM, DISCIPLESHIP AND LEADERSHIP TRAINING PRODUCED MANY CHANGED LIVES AND A GREAT INCREASE IN THE NUMBER OF VOLUNTEERS AND STAFF.
MANY ACTIVITES WERE HELD THROUGHOUT THE YEAR WITH MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. THE YOUTH ACTIVITIES CENTERED ON TOPICS FACING YOUTH IN TODAY'S CULTURE. THE PRESENTERS FOCUSED ON HELPING THE YOUTH SEE THE KINGDOM PERSPECTIVE ON AN ISSUE.
OVER 120 INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS FROM 30 COUNTRIES WERE SERVED THANKSGIVING DINNERS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF KANSAS. MANY OF THESE STUDENTS ALSO ATTEND WEEKLY MEETINGS ON THE COLLEGE CAMPUS.
