THE HORST RECHELBACHER FOUNDATION IS A FAMILY FOUNDATION THAT OPERATES MULTIPLE PROGRAMS AT THE ACREAGE ON 350 ACRES OF PRISTINE HARDWOOD FORESTS, OAK SAVANNAS, MEADOWS, PRAIRIES, WETLANDS AND SHORES OF THE NATIONALLY DESIGNATED WILD & SCENIC ST CROIX RIVER.THE ACREAGE WORKS WITH PARTNER NON-PROFITS TO OFFER A MULTITUDE OF PROGRAMS INCLUDING EDUCATIONAL CLASSES, ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAMS, CONVENINGS, AND ART EVENTS THAT UTILIZE THE UNIQUE NATURE-BASED SETTING, SCULPTURE GARDEN, ANIMALS AND BUILDINGS THAT ENCOMPASS THE PROPERTY. THE FOUNDATION IS ACTIVELY CONSERVING, RESTORING, MANAGING, AND PRESERVING THE NATURAL ECOSYSTEMS, HABITATS, HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANT AND NATURAL RESOURCES ON THE PROPERTY.
