THROUGH OUR ON-THE-GROUND PROJECTS, VOLUNTEER EVENTS AND TRAININGS GREAT RIVER GREENING WORKS WITH PARTNERS AND LOCAL COMMUNITIES TO RESTORE AND MAINTAIN THE BIODIVERSITY AND ECOLOGICAL HEALTH OF OUR LANDS AND WATERS. WITH OUR ECOLOGISTS AND FIELD CREW, 53,000 VOLUNTEERS HAVE IMPROVED, RESTORED, AND CARE FOR 50,000 ACRES, PLANTED 166,000 TREES AND SHRUBS, AND REMOVED OVER 17,500 ACRES OF INVASIVE SPECIES.
