THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED AND SHALL BE OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR RELIGIOUS, EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE PURPOSES, AS CONTEMPLATED AND PERMITTED BY SECTIONS 170(C)(2) AND 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OF 1986. WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE FOREGOING, THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH THE CORPORATION IS FORMED, AND THE BUSINESS AND THE OBJECTS TO BE CARRIED ON BY IT, IS TO PROVIDE A MEANS OF IMPROVING THE HEALTH OF THE COMMUNITIES SERVED BY THE SAINT CLOUD HOSPITAL AND CENTRACARE, PRINCIPALLY AS FOLLOWS: (A) ENGAGING IN ACTIVITIES TO PROMOTE THE GENERAL HEALTH OF ALL MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY AND IMPROVE THE DELIVERY OF HEALTH CARE SERVICES.
