THE MINNESOTA GROCERS ASSOCIATION FOUNDATION ESTABLISHED ITS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM TO RECOGNIZE AND AID DESERVING STUDENTS RELATED TO THE MINNESOTA FOOD INDUSTRY THROUGH THEIR PARENTS' EMPLOYMENT OR THEIR OWN PART-TIME EMPLOYMENT BY FIRMS THAT ARE MEMBERS OF THE MINNESOTA GROCERS ASSOCIATION. THIS PROGRAM SUPPORT STUDENT WITH COLLEGE EXPENSES. THE MINNESOTA GROCERS ASSOCIATION FOUNDATION HAS A TUITION SUPPORT PROGRAM THAT ENCOURAGES EMPLOYEES OF THE MINNESOTA FOOD INDUSTRY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE RETAIL MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATE (RMC). THIS IS A NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED, INDUSTRY-ENDORSED PROGRAM. THE PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO MEET THE EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE FOOD INDUSTRY AND PROVIDE VALUABLE SKILLS IN ALL AREAS OF BUSINESS. THE MINNESOTA GROCERS ASSOCIATION FOUNDATION ALSO LOOKS FOR OPPORTUNITIES TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON TOPICS OF RELEVANCE TO OUR INDUSTRY AND THE BETTERMENT OF THE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE.
