MINNESOTA PIONEER PARK IS AN EDUCATIONAL AND HISTORICAL FACILITY ESTABLISHED IN 1971 1972 TO BENEFIT THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND IN PARTICULAR THE STUDENTS OF MINNESOTA SCHOOLS. DESIGNED TO DISPLAY AND PRESERVE THE HISTORY OF CENTRAL MINNESOTA. SOME 1500 STUDENTS ARE SERVED EACH YEAR PRIMARILY THROUGH CLASS FIELD TRIPS AND ADDITIONALLY THROUGH ORGANIZED TOURS AND DAY CAMPS. ADDITIONALLY SEVERAL THOUSAND HOURS OF VOLUNTEER SERVICES ARE RECEIVED EACH YEAR WHICH ARE UTILIZED IN ALL ASPECTS OF THE PARKS NEEDS INCLUDING OFFICE, ACCOUNTING, ADMINISTRATION, MAINTENANCE AND TOUR GUIDING.
