SUPPORTIVE HOUSING IS AVAILABLE ON-SITE WHERE WE PROVIDED 37,589 NIGHTS OF HOUSING OR SCATTERED-SITE WHERE WE PROVIDED 33,498 NIGHTS OF HOUSING TO SINGLE ADULTS WHO NEED SAFE AND SOBER HOUSING WITH SUPPORT SERVICES. THOSE WE SERVE ARE OFTEN CONSIDERED THE CHRONICALLY OR LONG-TERM HOMELESS AND MANY OF THEM HAVE EMOTIONAL AND/OR PSYCHOLOGICAL ISSUES AND/OR A HISTORY OF SUBSTANCE ABUSE. CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE FOR ALL CLIENTS. WHETHER SEEKING FURTHER EDUCATION OR DEVELOPING EMPLOYMENT SKILLS, CLIENTS WITHIN THE SUPPORTIVE HOUSING PROGRAM ARE PROVIDED WITH CASEMANAGEMENT SERVICES.

THE FOOD CENTRE OFFERS TWO PUBLIC MEALS: A BREAKFAST THAT IS OPEN TO WOMEN, CHILDREN AND MEN WITH CHILDREN AND A NOON MEAL, WHICH IS OPEN TO ALL THE GENERAL PUBLIC. WEGENERALLY SERVE ABOUT 300 GUESTS. WE HAVE A "NO QUESTIONS ASKED" PHILOSOPHY ABOUT FEEDING THE HUNGRY - WE SERVE ANYONE IN NEED OF A MEAL. DAY BY DAY IS A LICENSED SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER PROGRAM FOR CLIENTS WHO ARE 18 YEARS AND UP EXPERIENCING BOTH SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER AND HOMELESSNESS. THE PROGRAM IS BASED ON A HOUSING FIRST HARM REDUCTION PHILOSOPHY AND SERVES APPROXIMATELY 200 PERSONS EACH YEAR. IN 2020 ATTENDANCE WAS SIGNIFICANTLY LOWER DUE TO COVID19.
