THE APPROXIMATELY 390 MEMBERS OF THE MINNEAPOLIS BRANCH AAUW MEET EVERY MONDAY AND SECOND TUESDAY EVENING EACH MONTH DURING THE ACADEMIC YEAR FOR A DAY OF PROGRAMMING AND LUNCH AND/OR DINNER AT THE GALE MANSION. A VARIETY OF SPEAKERS FROM THE COMMUNITY TALK TO MEMBERS ON SUBJECTS RELATED TO VARIOUS BROAD PROGRAM TOPICS.SUPPORT IS OFFERED TO THE COMMUNITY IN A VARIETY OF WAYS: FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS, BIANNUAL COLLECTION OF HOUSEHOLD ITEMS FOR CLIENTS AT THE PASSAGE COMMUNITY HOUSING DEVELOPMENT, AND A PROFESSIONAL CLOTHING DRIVE TWICE A YEAR FOR URBAN VENTURES TO ASSIST PEOPLE RE-ENTERING THE WORKFORCE.
