GRANTS ARE AWARDED TO LOCAL WISCONSIN CHAPTERS TO SUPPORT EFFORTS TO PROMOTE LITERACY IN CHILDREN AND ADULTS PARTICULARLY THOSE OF LOW INCOME STATUS. PROJECTS INCLUDE PROVIDING SCHOOL SUPPLIES, COMFORT AND HYGIENE ITEMS, EARLY READING MATERIALS AND CLASSROOM SUPPLIES TO TEACHERS.
MEMBERSHIP DUES AND OTHER DONATIONS ARE COLLECTED AND SENT TO THE DKG SOCIETY INTERNATIONAL TO SUPPORT EDUCATION OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN IN THE US AND AROUND THE WORLD.
