HAITI BENEVOLENCE FUND AND OUR HOUSE OF HOPE: HAITI BENEVOLENCE FUND CARED FOR 32 CHILDREN IN PORT AU PRINCE, HAITI, MOST OF THEM WITH SPECIAL NEEDS, BY PROVIDING FOOD, EDUCATION, SPECIAL CARE GIVERS (NANNIES/MEDICAL), MEDICAL CARE, FUNERAL EXPENSES AND A RENTED HOME FOR THEM TO LIVE IN. OUR HOUSE OF HOPE IS OUR HAITI MINISTRY CENTER. OUR USA STAFF USES THIS BUILDING AS A BASE TO REACH INTO THE COMMUNITY AND HELP WITH THE MANY NEEDS BROUGHT TO THEM, INCLUDING MEDICAL HELP, FOOD, SPIRITUAL COUNSELING, OVERSIGHT AND MANAGEMENT OF THE SPECIAL NEEDS HOME AND ALSO LEADERSHIP IN A LOCAL CHURCH.
OTHER EXPENSES TO SUPPORT PROGRAMS, INCLUDING SALARIES, TRAVEL TO SUPERVISE PROGRAMS, MISSIONARY SUPPORT EXPENSES, AND VARIOUS OTHER EXPENSES.
UKRAINIAN REFUGEE RELIEF IS AN IMPORTANT HELP TO MANY FLEEING THE WAR IN UKRAINE AND SEEKING SHELTER. WE HAVE TWO LOCATIONS, ONE IN LVIV, UKRAINE, AND THE OTHER IN BYDGOSZCZ, POLAND. WE HAVE HELPED TO RENT A WAREHOUSE IN LVIV IN PARTNERSHIP WITH A LOCAL CHURCH AND CONVERT IT TO SLEEPING AREAS FOR REFUGEES. THESE REFUGEES ALSO RECEIVE HAIR CUTS, FOOD AND MENTAL AND SPIRITUAL COUNSELING WHILE THEY ARE WITH US. IN LVIV WE ALSO DISTRIBUTE HOT MEALS TO MANY OF THE REFUGEES LIVING IN VERY POOR CONDITIONS. WE HELPED TO RENT 5 APARTMENTS IN BYDGOSZCZ, POLAND, WHICH HOUSE REFUGEES AND THEIR FAMILIES UNTIL THEY ARE ABLE TO FIND MORE PERMANENT LIVING CONDITIONS AND EMPLOYMENT.
ASIA BENEVOLENCE IN MYANMAR AND PAKISTAN: ASIA BENEVOLENCE IN MYANMAR IS HELPING TO PURCHASE LAND AND BUILD A SAFE HOUSE FOR TRAFFICKED YOUNG WOMEN. WE ALSO HELPED A YOUNG WIDOW AND HER TWO CHILDREN WHOSE HUSBAND TRAGICALLY DROWNED AT A CHURCH OUTING. IN PAKISTAN WE HELPED FUND AND PARTICIPATED IN EVANGELISTIC MEETINGS. DON SHIRE AND MARK RITCHIE PARTICIPATED VIA ZOOM WITH MUSIC AND BIBLICAL TEACHING. WE ALSO ARE HELPING AFGHAN REFUGEES ESCAPE THE TALIBAN AND ENTER PAKISTAN WHERE WE HELP THEM RELOCATE TO OTHER COUNTRIES. WE HELP THEM WITH DAILY NEEDS AS WELL AS HELP TO PAY FOR NECESSARY PASSPORTS AND VISAS.
