THE GUILD RAISES FUNDS TO SUPPLEMENT THE LIMITED FUNDING OF THE ORCHESTRA PROVIDED BY THE WEST DES MOINES SCHOOL DISTRICT. THESE ADDITIONAL FUNDS SUPPORT SUCH ACTIVITIES AS AN INSTRUMENT RENTAL AND REPAIR PROGRAM, A TUXEDO & CONCERT DRESS RENTAL PROGRAM, MASTER CLASSES AND MUSIC FESTIVALS WITH COMPOSERS, ALL STATE RECITALS, SOLO & ENSEMBLE FESTIVALS, COACHING FEES, COMMISSION OF NEW COMPOSITIONS, AND BANQUETS AND RECEPTIONS.
