STATELINE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION IS DEDICATED TO IDENTIFYING AND RESPONDING TO COMMUNITY NEEDS THROUGH STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS, INFORMED GRANTMAKING, AND INSPIRED PHILANTHROPY.

SCF MANAGED 169 FUNDS IN 2023 INCLUDING 6 NEW FUNDS ALL GOVERNED BY FORMAL AGREEMENTS INDICATING THE DONOR'S CHARITABLE INTENT. CONTRIBUTIONS OF $1,846,964 WERE MADE BY 443 DONORS. THE COMPETITIVE GRANT PROGRAM MADE 170 GRANTS TO 73 AGENCIES SUPPORTING ANIMAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL WELFARE, THE ARTS, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, CAPACITY BUILDING, EDUCATION, AND HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES IN OUR SERVICE AREA. SCFS ROBUST SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM AWARDED 89 SCHOLARSHIPS TO 69 HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES AND ADULT LEARNERS. 57 VOLUNTEERS REVIEWED THE APPLICATIONS OF BOTH COMPETITIVE PROGRAMS. THE WOMEN'S FUND ADDRESSES FUNDING GAPS IN THE NEEDS OF WOMEN AND GIRLS IN BELOIT FOCUSING ON: HEALTH AND STABILITY, SAFETY AND SECURITY, OPPORTUNITY, AND LEADERSHIP. THE LITERACY FOR LIFE INITIATIVE FOCUSES ON THE BENEFITS OF PARENT-CHILD COMMUNICATION INCLUDING IMPROVED OUTCOMES IN HEALTH, EDUCATION, TEEN RISK BEHAVIORS, CRIME, INCOME, AND EMPLOYMENT.
