HOWARD YOUNG FOUNDATION SUPPORTS THE FUNCTIONS RELATED TO THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF THOSE IN OUR SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES, INCLUDING CAPITAL PURCHASES FOR THE HOWARD YOUNG MEDICAL CENTER, INC. AND ASCENSION EAGLE RIVER HOSPITAL, INC.; SUPPORT FOR MINISTRY HOME CARE, INC. -WHICH PROVIDES IN-HOME MEDICAL CARE; PROVIDES SUPPORT TO THE LOCAL FOOD PANTRY TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO THOSE IN THE COMMUNITY IN NEED OF HELP PROVIDING FOOD OR OTHER STAPLES FOR THEIR FAMILIES; AND PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR PROVIDERS AND NURSING STAFF IN THE COMMUNITY IN ORDER TO ENHANCE THE CARE PROVIDED FOR THOSE IN THE COMMUNITY.
