MEDICARE: UNDER THE TERMS OF A CONTRACT WITH THE CENTERS FOR MEDICARE AND MEDICAID SERVICES (CMS), METASTAR IS A SUBCONTRACTOR TO SUPERIOR HEALTH QUALITY ALLIANCE FOR THE 12TH SOW QIO ACTIVITIES. THERE ARE SPECIFIC DELIVERABLES OUTLINED IN THE 12TH SOW THAT SUPERIOR HEALTH TRACKS AND IS EVALUATED ON BY CMS.
LONG TERM CARE: UNDER THE TERMS OF A CONTRACT WITH THE WISCONSIN DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES (DHS), METASTAR PERFORMS EXTERNAL QUALITY REVIEW ACTIVITIES FOR WISCONSIN FAMILY CARE PROGRAM AND VALIDATION OF PROVIDERS' COMPLIANCE WITH CMS REQUIREMENTS FOR HOME AND COMMUNITY BASED SERVICES.
MEDICAID: UNDER THE TERMS OF A CONTRACT WITH THE BUREAU OF HEALTH CARE FINANCING, STATE OF WISCONSIN, METASTAR PERFORMED INPATIENT HOSPITAL UTILIZATION REVIEW AND HMO QUALITY ASSURANCE REVIEW FOR THE TITLE XIX MEDICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM.

AND (3) NO WRONG DOOR SYSTEM BUSINESS CASE DEVELOPMENT; WORKING TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY AND CONSISTENCY OF THE LONG-TERM CARE OPTIONS COUNSELING PROVIDED BY THE AGING AND DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTERS. THE PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT AUDITS INCLUDE (1) HEDIS AUDITS ON THE QUALITY INDICATORS THAT ARE USED BY HMOS (2) DATA VALIDATION AUDITS OF HEALTH PLANS AS REQUIRED BY CMS FOR MEDICARE PART C&D PROGRAMS, (3) URAC AUDITS PERFORMED FOR PHARMACIES ACCREDITED THROUGH URAC, AND RISK-ADJUSTED DATA VALIDATION SERVICES FOR COMMERCIAL HEALTH PLANS.PRIVACY AND SECURITY SERVICES OFFERED ARE FEE-FOR-SERVICE HIPAA PRIVACY & SECURITY ASSISTANCE AND OTHER HEALTH IT SERVICES IN A VARIETY OF HEALTHCARE SETTINGS.
