ENERGY: PROJECT HOME CONTRACTS WITH THE STATE OF WISCONSIN AND UTILITY COMPANIES TO PROVIDE WEATHERIZATION SERVICES TO LOW INCOME HOMEOWNERS AND TENANTS IN DANE AND GREEN COUNTIES. DURING 2021, PROJECT HOME PROVIDED 211 WEATHERIZATION AND 146 EMERGENCY FURNACE REPAIRS AND REPLACEMENT.
HOME REPAIR: PROJECT HOME CONTRACTS WITH CITY, COUNTY, STATE, AND PRIVATE ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE HOME REPAIR SERVICES TO LOW- AND MODERATE-INCOME HOMEOWNERS. PROJECT HOME PROVIDED 163 REPAIRS OR REHAB SERVICES TO INCOME ELIGIBLE HOMEOWNERS TO MAINTAIN THEIR HOMES BY PROVIDING ZERO INTEREST LOANS, GRANTS, AND SUBSIDIZED LABOR BY OPERATING TWO MAJOR HOME REHABILITATION PROGRAMS AND SEVERAL MINOR REPAIR EVENTS. PROJECT HOME ALSO PERFORMED 51 REPAIRS OR HOME PERFORMANCE JOBS FOR HOMEOWNERS IN THE PRIVATE SECTOR.
PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT: PROJECT HOME WORKS WITH VARIOUS INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANIZATIONS TO DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN LOW-INCOME HOUSING UNITS. DURING 2021 PROJECT HOME COMPLETED A PROJECT TO RENOVATE THE BATHROOMS AND KITCHENS IN 47 HOUSING UNITS LOCATED ON ALLIED DRIVE IN MADISON WI.
