THE BENEDICT CENTER IS AN INTERFAITH, NONPROFIT CRIMINAL JUSTICE AGENCY WORKING WITH VICTIMS, OFFENDERS AND THE COMMUNITY TO ACHIEVE A SYSTEM OF JUSTICE THAT IS FAIR AND TREATS EVERYONE WITH DIGNITY AND RESPECT.

WOMEN'S HARM REDUCTION PROGRAM (WHRP): THE WHRP PROVIDES INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP LEVEL SUBSTANCE USE AND MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING, WRAPAROUND EDUCATION, AND BASIC NEEDS ASSISTANCE TO SUPPORT WOMEN IN THEIR EFFORTS TO MAKE POSITIVE CHANGES TO IMPROVE THEIR HEALTH AND WELL-BEING (171 SERVED).WOMEN'S REENTRY PROGRAM: PROVIDES REENTRY PLANNING, CASE MANAGEMENT, LIFE SKILLS TRAINING, AND EDUCATION FOR WOMEN WHO ARE INCARCERATED BOTH PRIOR TO AND FOLLOWING THEIR RELEASE FROM INCARCERATION (110 SERVED).


SISTERS PROGRAM: THE SISTERS PROGRAM PROVIDES CRISIS STABILIZATION, SAFETY, RESPITE, COUNSELING, AND SUPPORT SERVICES TO WOMEN IN THE STREET-BASED SEX TRADE, WHICH INCLUDES SEX TRAFFICKING (354 SERVED).


COMMUNITY JUSTICE AND ADVOCACY: ADVOCATES FOR BEST PRACTICE AND COST-EFFECTIVE POLICIES TO ENSURE WOMEN IN THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM RECEIVE GENDER-RESPONSIVE, TRAUMA-INFORMED, AND HARM REDUCTION-FOCUSED TREATMENT.
