PREVENTION AND EDUCATION - OFFERS MANY SERVICES IN THE PREVENTION AND EDUCATION OF SUBSTANCE USE INCLUDING CLASSROOM PROGRAMS THAT ARE EVIDENCED BASED PROGRAMS FOR K-12. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO ATTENDS MANY HEALTH FAIRS AND PRESENTATIONS THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY. THEY HAVE A LARGE LIBRARY OF BOOKS SPECIALIZING IN SUBSTANCE USE AND ABUSE AVAILABLE FOR FREE.
RECOVERY SUPPORT - PROVIDES NUMEROUS PROGRAMS THAT PROVIDE RECOVERY SUPPORT WITHIN THE COMMUNITY. COULEE COUNCIL ON ADDICTIONS IS HOME TO MANY 12 STEP SUPORT GROUPS WITH MEETINGS ONGOING THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. THE RESOURCE CENTER OFFERS AN INVITING DROP IN CENTER AND MEALS SEVERAL TIMES A WEEK AS WELL AS A LECTURE SERIES AND OTHER PROGRAMS TO SUPPORT RECOVERY.
CRISIS AND COUNSELING - COULEE COUNCIL ON ADDICTIONS IS LICENSED BY THE STATE OF WISCONSIN TO DELIVER BOTH EMERGENCY OUT PATIENT AND ONGOING OUT PATIENT SERVICES TO CLIENTS AND FAMILIES STRUGGLING WITH SUBSTANCE ABUSE. COULEE COUNCIL ON ADDICTIONS DOES ASSESSMENTS FOR UNDERAGE CITATIONS AND LEGAL REQUIREMENTS. SOME SERVICES ARE FEE BASED AND OTHERS GRANT FUNDED.
