THE WISCONSIN RURAL OPPORTUNITIES FOUNDATION (WROF) FOSTERS THE VITALITY OF RURAL WISCONSIN, PRIMARILY THROUGH THE PROMOTION OF EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES, AS WELL AS IMPROVEMENT OF HEALTH CARE SERVICES, CULTURAL EXPERIENCES, AND SUPPORT OF THE RURAL ECONOMIC BASE. DURING THE 2019-2020 YEAR, WROF PROVIDED GRANTS TO 17 ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS TO 101 INDIVIDUAL STUDENTS WITH NEED AND WHO MET SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS. IN ADDITION, WROF PROVIDED ONE GRANT TO SUPPORT RURAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ATTENDING A SUMMER SCIENCE CAMP.
