THE WISCONSIN RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION SUPPORTS ITS MEMMBERSHIP WITH EFFORTS TO ADVANCE FOODSERVICE AND TOURISM GOALS BY PROMOTING A POSITIVE INDUSTRY IMAGE THROUGH PUBLIC RELATIONS PROGRAMS AND PROVIDING GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT TO PROMOTE MEMBER SATISFACTION THROUGH STATE AND LOCAL CHAPTERS. MEMBERS ARE INFORMED OF HOW TO CORRECTLY APPLY LAWS AND REGULATIONS AFFECTING THE INDUSTRY TO THEIR BUSINESSES AS WELL AS INFORM THEM OF SAFE FOOD HANDLING PRACTICES AND PUBLIC POLICY ISSUES.


THE WISCONSIN RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION'S GOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS WORK REVIEWS AND RECOMMENDS LEGISLATIVE POSITIONS ON ISSUES OF INTEREST TO THE FOODSERVICE INDUSTRY AND THE ASSOCIATION'S MEMBERSHIP. THE ASSOCIATION MAINTAINS POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND ADVISES MEMBERS ON PROPOSED LEGISLATION AND EXISTING LAWS THAT AFFECT THE INDUSTRY AND SMALL BUSINESSES, WHICH IN TURN CAN HAVE A POSITIVE EFFECT ON THE ECONOMNY AS A WHOLE.


PUBLIC AND MEMBER RELATIONS - CONSISTS OF EFFORTS TO ADVANCE FOOD SERVICE TOURISM GOALS BY PROMOTING A POSITIVE INDUSTRY IMAGE THROUGH PUBLIC RELATIONS PROGRAMS. THE FOUNDATION PROMOTES EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES, PROFESSIONALISM, AND CAREER OPPORTUNITIES.
