ENRICHING THE LIVES OF JEWISH STUDENTS SO THAT THEY MAY ENRICH THE JEWISH PEOPLE & THE WORLD HILLEL STUDENTS LEADERS, PROFESSIONAL & LAY LEADERS ARE DEDICATED TO CREATING A PLURALISTIC, WELCOMING & INCLUSIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR JEWISH COLLEGE STUDENTS, WHERE THEY ARE ENCOURAGED TO GROW INTELLECTUALLY, SPIRITUALLY & SOCIALLY. HILLEL HELPS STUDENTS FIND A BALANCE IN BEING DISTINCTIVELY JEWISH & UNIVERSALLY HUMAN BY ENCOURAGING THEM TO PURSUE TZEDEK (SOCIAL JUSTICE), TIKKUM OLAN (REPAIRING THE WORLD) & JEWISH LEARNING & TO SUPPORT ISRAEL & GLOBAL JEWISH PEOPLEHOOD. ISRAEL - ONE OF THE KEY PARTS OF OUR MISSION AND VISION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS FOR STUDENTS TO BUILD AN EDURING COMMITMENT TO JEWISH LIFE, LEARNING, AND ISRAEL. THIS CLASS INCLUDES PROGRAMS RELATED TO HOSTING EVENTS AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AROUND ISRAEL AND ONE OF OUR KEY STAFF MEMBERS WHOSE SOLE JOB IS ISRAEL ENGAGEMENT AND EDUCATION.
