FUNDACION SALA MENDOZA IS AN INDEPENDENT, NON-PROFIT, ALTERNATIVE EXHIBITION SPACE DEDICATED TO PROMOTING CONTEMPORARY ARTISTIC PRACTICES. SINCE ITS FOUNDATION IT HAS MAINTAINED A CONTINUOUS COMMITMENT TO CREATIVE ACTIVITY, PROVIDING A PLATFORM FOR THE EXCHANGE OF KNOWLEDGE THAT STIMULATES NEW WAYS OF APPROACHING ART ADAPTED TO THE INTENSE AND PLURAL SOCIAL TRANSFORMATIONS. WITH A VISION AIMED AT BEING THE CENTER OF REFERENCE FOR THE ARTISTIC SCENE AND PRODUCTION, AS WELL AS FOR CONTEMPORARY CRITICAL DEBATE, THE FOUNDATION RECONCILES ITS PROFILE AS A NON-PROFIT CIVIL ASSOCIATION WITH A SELF-MANAGEMENT DYNAMIC.
