MICHIGAN YOUTH LIVESTOCK FOUNDATION PROVIDES AUCTION SERVICES FOR YOUTH WHO EXHIBIT LIVESTOCK AT FAIRS THROUGHOUT MICHIGAN. THE FOUNDATION ALLOWS HOSTS A DAIRY EXPO TO HIGHLIGHT YOUTH INVOLVEMENT IN RAISING LIVESTOCK IN THE DAIRY INDUSTRY.


SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED TO YOUTH LIVESTOCK EXHIBITORS WHO ARE OR WILL BE ATTENDING AN INSTITUTION OF HIGHER EDUCATION -30 STUDENTS WERE AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS TOTALING $40,000, AND $9,500 WAS AWARDING IN LIVESTOCK JUDGING SUPPORT.


MICHIGAN EDUCATION SAVINGS AWARDS ARE PRESENTED TO YOUTH EXHIBITORS WHO COMPETE IN VARIOUS LIVESTOCK COMPETITONS INCLUDING; JUDGING, SHOWMANSHIP, LIVESTOCK AND QUIZ.
