THE MICHIGAN DENTAL ASSOCIATION FOUNDATION WAS FORMED TO RECEIVE AND ADMINISTER FUNDS FOR EDUCATION IN DENTISTRY AND FOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS AND SCHOLARSHIPS TO OUTSTANDING STUDENTS INTENDING TO PURSUE EDUCATIONAL TRAINING FOR A CAREER IN DENTISTRY OR RELATED FIELDS. THE FOUNDATION IS ALSO PROVIDING FINANCIAL AID TO DENTISTS WHO PRACTICE OR HAVE PRACTICED IN THE STATE OF MICHIGAN AND THEIR DEPENDENTS, WHO, BECAUSE OF MISFORTUNE, AGE, PHYSICAL, OR OTHER DISABLING CONDITIONS, ARE NOT WHOLLY SELF-SUSTAINING.
