INDIVIDUAL OUTCOMES: 1) 39 PEOPLE LIVING IN NURSING FACILITIES WERE TRANSITIONED TO LIVING INDEPENDENTLY IN THE COMMUNITY 2) 90 YOUTH WITH DISABILITIES RECEIVED TRAINING, EDUCATION AND RESOURCES TO TRANSITION TO COLLEGE, WORK AND INDEPENDENT LIVING 3) 144 PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES GOT JOBS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH MICHIGAN REHABILITATION SERVICES COMMUNITY OUTCOMES: 1) 1,000 PEOPLE ATTENDED THE DISABILITY NETWORKS ADA DAY, OVER THE EDGE AND HOLIDAY COMMUNITY CELEBRATIONS 2) 100 LOCAL BUSINESS LEADERS PARTICIPATED IN DISABILITY EMPLOYMENT TRAININGS THROUGH TDN'S SUPPORT OF THE FLINT & GENESEE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE 3) RECEIVED AND RESPONDED TO OVER 5,000 INDIVIDUAL INFORMATION AND REFERRAL REQUESTS ALL OF THESE PEOPLE WERE SERVED BY THE DISABILITY NETWORK; A 20 STAFF COMPANY THAT HAS A 16.6% ADMINISTRATIVE OVERHEAD AND A 15 TO 1 RETURN ON INVESTMENT ACCORDING TO THE MICHIGAN STATE HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT.
