OPERATION OF A SCHOOL PROVIDING FAITH CENTERED EDUCATION TO CHILDREN IN THE DETROIT METROPOLITAN AREA. DURING 2017, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTED TO CEASE OPERATIONS AS A PRIVATE CHRIST CENTERED SCHOOL THROUGH THE ASSOCIATION. STUDENTS WILL BE OFFERED SPOTS IN THE CORNERSTONE EDUCATION GROUP ("CEG") CHARTER SYSTEM. AFTER THE SCHOOL CLOSES, THE ASSOCIATION WILL FOCUS ON WAYS TO ASSIST CEG IN ITS EDUCATIONAL MISSION AS WELL AS OFFERING CHRIST CENTERED ACTIVITIES TO STUDENTS AND PARENTS ON A VOLUNTARY BASIS OUTSIDE OF REGULAR SCHOOL HOURS. THE ASSOCIATION WILL ALSO CONTINUE TO LEASE FACILITIES TO CEG AT ITS NEVADA CAMPUS AND CONTINUE TO COLLECT LICENSING FEES TO FUND ITS MISSION.
