EDUCATE THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY VIA AN AGRESSIVE MARKETING CAMPAIGN; ENCOURAGE ECONOMIC, INDUSTRIAL, AND CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT TO CREATE EMPLOYMENT; PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE REUSE AND REDEVELOPMENT OF ABANDONED, CONTAMINATED, OR OBSOLETE INDUSTRIAL PROPERTIES; PROMOTE BUSINESS RETENTION AND EXPANSION; PROVIDE SUPPORT TO MUNICIPAL UNITS TO ACHIEVE THE EG CVC'S OBJECTIVES AND PURPOSES; AND PROMOTE ART AND CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT WITHIN THE COMMUNITY.


FACILITATE THE JACKSON AREA COLLEGE AND CAREER CONNECTION EARLY/MIDDLE COLLEGE PROGRAM WHICH PARTNERS WITH LOCAL COLLEGES, BUSINESSES, AND HIGH SCHOOLS TO PROVIDE TUITION AND MATERIALS FOR JACKSON COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS TO GET A HEAD START ON THEIR COLLEGE AND CAREER EXPERIENCE.
