SINCE 1957, SDBA HAS WORKED WITH INVESTORS, ENTREPRENEURS, CUSTOMERS, AND NEIGHBORS TO CAPITALIZE ON SOUTHWEST DETROIT'S COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE, ADVANCE OUR ETHNIC AND MINORITY-OWNED BUSINESSES, STIMULATE ECONOMIC GROWTH, AND GROW A HEALTHY, VIBRANT NEIGHBORHOOD. THE SDBA ESTABLISHED THE MEXICANTOWN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION TO REVITALIZE AND REDEVELOP BAGLEY AVENUE, RESULTING IN A CULTURAL BUSINESS DISTRICT.
