ALDE IS ONE OF THE NATION'S LEADING ORGANIZATIONS OF CHRISTIAN DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVES. THE MEMBERSHIP CONSISTS OF MORE THAN 500 PROFESSIONALS IN THE AREAS OF FUNDRAISING AND COMMUNICATIONS. DURING THE YEAR ALDE PROVIDED EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND PROFESSIONAL GROWTH VIA ZOOM SINCE WE WERE UNABLE TO HOST A CONFERENCE. DUE TO COVID, WE HAVE SEEN A DECLINE IN MEMBERSHIP. DURING COVID, THE BOARD AND EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MET MUCH MORE FREQUENTLY AND BEGAN TO MAP OUT A PLAN TO EXPAND OUR NETWORK AND CHANGE THE ORGANIZATION'S NAME. THIS TIME WAS PUT TO GOOD USE SINCE WE WERE ABLE TO SECURE PPP LOANS, BOTH OF WHICH WERE FORGIVEN.
