2021 PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS: - WE ADVOCATED FOR MORE RENEWABLE ENERGY AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY PROGRAMS, INCLUDING THE UTILITY'S INTEGRATED RESOURCE PLAN AND GRID MODERNIZATION. IN 2021, NEARLY 3,250 MEGAWATTS OF NEW CLEAN ENERGY RESOURCES INCLUDING SOLAR, WIND, AND BATTERIES WERE SHORTLISTED BY PACIFICORP. - UTAH CLEAN ENERGY'S 2021 PARTY FOR CLEAN POWER BROUGHT TOGETHER HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE VIRTUALLY TO CELEBRATE WOMEN LEADERS IN CLIMATE AND TO CATALYZE BOLD CLIMATE SOLUTIONS. - WE DEVELOPED A CLIMATE STRATEGIC ACTION PLAN FOR PARK CITY AND SUMMIT COUNTY GEARED TOWARD REDUCING EMISSIONS ON A COMMUNITY-WIDE SCALE. - THANKS TO GENEROUS DONORS, UTAH CLEAN ENERGY ACQUIRED A BUILDING THAT WILL BE THE FUTURE HOME OF THE CLIMATE INNOVATION CENTER, A NET-ZERO AND ALL-ELECTRIC SHOWCASE FOR CONSTRUCTION. - UTAH CLEAN ENERGY'S BENEFICIAL ELECTRIFICATION AND ENERGY EQUITY PROGRAMS WERE LAUNCHED AND EXPANDED IN 2021. - WITH SUPPORT FROM UTAH CLEAN ENERGY, ALL NEW BUILDINGS FUNDED BY THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF SALT LAKE CITY (RDA) WILL NOW BE ULTRA-ENERGY EFFICIENT AND FOSSIL-FUEL FREE. - THROUGH THE UTAH CLIMATE ACTION NETWORK, UTAH CLEAN ENERGY ORGANIZED THE 6TH ANNUAL "UTAH CLIMATE WEEK" EDUCATING AND ENGAGING UTAH RESIDENTS THROUGHOUT THE STATE ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE AND CLIMATE SOLUTIONS. - WE ADVOCATED FOR NEW UTILITY PROGRAMS THAT WILL DRAMATICALLY EXPAND ACCESS TO ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING THROUGHOUT UTAH AND ENABLE MORE NET ZERO CONSTRUCTION.
