TO PROVIDE EDUCATION AND OUTREACH RAISING AWARENESS ABOUT HUNGER NETWORK OF PRIVATE, PUBLIC, PHILANTHROPIC, AND NONPROFIT PARTNERS DEDICATED TO WORKING TOGETHER TO END HUNGER. TO EXECUTE GRANT CONTRACTS - INCLUDING OVERSIGHT OF SNAP OUTREACH ACTIVITIES AMONG CONTRACTED FOOD BANKS, IN SERVING FOOD-INSECURE FAMILIES, FRIENDS, COLLEAGUES, AND NEIGHBORS WITHIN OUR STATEWIDE FOOD BANK NETWORK. TO PROVIDE LEADERSHIP AND BUILD COLLABORATIVE SUPPORT IN SEEKING TO DEVELOP AN AGRICULTURAL SURPLUS CAPTURE PROGRAM IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE EMERGENCY FOOD SYSTEM WORKING GROUP OF THE ILLINOIS COMMISSION TO END HUNGER.
