TO CONDUCT ACTIVITIES TOWARD ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOR ALL OF CRAWFORD COUNTY, ILLINOIS. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES WILL CONSIST PRIMARILY OF TWO PARTS: RETENTION OF EXISTING BUSINESS/INDUSTRY AND SEARCH ACTIVITIES FOR NEW INDUSTRY.

LOANS WERE PROVIDED TO BUSINESSES LOCATED IN CRAWFORD COUNTY, ILLINOIS. CRAWFORD COUNTY DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION (CCDA) CONDUCTED ACTIVITIES TO ATTRACT AND RETAIN BUSINESSES AND INDUSTRIES TO CRAWFORD COUNTY, ILLINOIS. IN THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED NOVEMBER 30, 2022, CCDA PROVIDED FUNDING TO THE CRAWFORD COUNTY RECREATION CENTER, A LOCAL NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION, TO AID IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW REC CENTER IN ORDER TO MAKE CRAWFORD COUNTY A MORE ATTRACTIVE PLACE TO LIVE AND WORK. CCDA ALSO UNDERTOOK EFFORTS TO ADDRESS THE CHILD CARE SHORTAGE IN CRAWFORD COUNTY, WHICH AFFECTS THE COUNTY'S ABILITY TO ATTRACT AND RETAIN NEW BUSINESSES AND WORKERS.
