THE MISSION OF THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF PROFESSIONAL BAND INSTRUMENT REPAIR TECHNICIANS IS TO PROVIDE, WITHOUT PROFIT, A MEANS FOR ITS MEMBERSHIP TO: 1. IDENTIFY THEMSELVES AS CRAFTSPERSONS WHOSE STATUS IN THE ECONOMIC SOCIETY SHALL BE PROFESSIONAL 2. IMPLEMENT A MEMBERSHIP-CONCEIVED CODE OF ETHICS THAT SHALL PROMOTE THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE STANDARDS OF MUSICAL INSTRUMENT REPAIR SERVICE BY PROVIDING MEMBERS WITH A CENTRAL AGENCY FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF PROGRAMS THAT BENEFIT ITS MEMBERSHIP. 3. PROVIDE A CENTRAL AGENCY FOR THE EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION RELATIVE TO THE PURSUIT OF THE PROFESSION. 4. ADMINISTER SUCH PROGRAMS AS SHALL BE A BENEFIT TO ITS MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES 5.
