CONFERENCE - PUT ON A CONFERENCE THAT PROVIDED A FORUM FOR PEERS TO DISCUSS ISSUES AND SOLUTIONS TO THOSE ISSUES. THE CONFERENCE OFFERED A GREAT MIX OF TRAINING/EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AS WELL AS SOCIAL ACITIVITIES. THE CONFERENCE FEATURED A VENDORS' SHOWCASE, GIVING OUR ASSOCIATE MEMBERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO DISPLAY THEIR PRODCUTS AND PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS ABOUT PRODUCTS PERTAINING TO TRANSIT OPERATIONS.
ADVOCACY - ADVOCATED ON BEHALF OF MEMBERS WITH THE STATE LEGISLATURE, IDOT AND THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE, AS WELL AS CONGRESS AND THE FEDERAL TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION. SPECIFICALLY FOCUSED ON STATE AND FEDERAL CAPITAL AND OPERATING FUNDING ISSUES.
