RESEARCH AND ARCHIVAL PROGRAM SERVICES - THE CENTER AWARDS CONGRESSIONAL RESEARCH GRANTS TO SCHOLARS FROM THE DISCIPLINES OF HISTORY, POLITICAL SCIENCE, AND PUBLIC POLICY TO ASSIST IN THEIR WRITING AND TEACHING ABOUT CONGRESS. THE CENTER ALSO MAINTAINS NEARLY 4,000 LINEAR FEET OF HISTORICAL MANUSCRIPT COLLECTIONS DOCUMENTING THE CAREERS OF FOUR MEMBERS OF CONGRESS. THESE COLLECTIONS ARE COMPLEMENTED BY MORE THAN 75 SMALLER COLLECTIONS.
PUBLIC PROGRAM SERVICES - THE CENTER CO-SPONSORS AN ANNUAL PUBLIC POLICY SYMPOSIUM WITH BRADLEY UNIVERSITY'S INSTITUTE FOR PRINCIPLED LEADERSHIP, AWARDS A SCHOLARSHIP ANNUALLY TO STUDENTS AT BRADLEY UNIVERSITY, SERVES IN LEADERSHIP POSITIONS IN SUCH PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS AS THE ASSOCIATION OF CENTERS FOR THE STUDY OF CONGRESS, AND USES A VARIETY OF SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS TO PROMOTE ITS PROGRAMS AND SERVICES.
