THE FUND DIRECTLY ENGAGES IN INITIATION, DEVELOPMENT, AND IMPLEMENTATION OF EQUINE- SPECIFIC SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH, TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS, LEGAL ENGAGEMENT, ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP, AND RELATED EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS THROUGH PROGRAM INITIATIVES OF THE CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY EQUINE STUDIES (CCES), A SUPPORTING ORGANIZATION HEADQUARTERED IN WOODSIDE, CA.THE FOUNDATION'S PRINCIPLE DIRECT ACTIVITIES DURING 2022 WERE:THE INITIATION OF THE FIRST LAWSUIT BROUGHT UNDER CALIFORNIA'S PROP. 6 PROHIBITING THE IMPORT AND SALE OF EQUINE MEAT PRODUCTS FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.
