THE ORGANIZATION WAS AFFECTED BY THE CORONAVIRUS DURING THE 2020 YEAR. THE YEAR STARTED WITH REGISTRATION OF APPROXIMATELY 300 YOUTH FROM THE COMMUNITES OF ANAHEIM, PLACENTIA AND FULLERTON IN ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA. IN MARCH 2020 THE PROGRAM CAME TO A STAND STILL DUE TO THE STAY AT HOME ORDERS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING. ALL SOCCER GAMES ARE PLAYED AT SCHOOL FIELDS THROUGH THE DIRECTION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, PLACENTIA AND FULLERTON WHICH COULD NOT ALLOW GAMES OR ALLOW PEOPLE TO GATHER. WITH SCHOOL CLOSURES, AND PHYSICAL DISTANCING WE REACHED OUT TO THE PARENTS WITH POSITIVE AND HEALTHY HABITS STRESSING TO BALANCE ONLINE RECREATION WITH OFFLINE ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING TIME OUTSIDE, IF POSSIBLE. OUR FUTURE GOAL IS TO CONTINUE OUR ORGANIZATION AS IN THE PAST.
