MEMBER MEETINGS TO PROVIDE FORUM FOR DISCUSSION AND EDUCATION. A PRESENTATION ON A PARTICULAR FACET OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT OR THE SKILLS NEEDED TO BE DEVELOPED TO BE A SUCCESSFUL PROJECT MANAGER IS GIVEN BY A PROFESSIONAL IN THE FIELD. TIME IS PROVIDED FOR DISCUSSION. IN 2021 THE PROGRAM PRESENTATION FORMAT CHANGED TO ADAPT TO THE COVID-19 PROTOCOLS/ZOOM ATTENDANCE FOR MOST OF THE MEETINGS.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SEMINARS/WORKSHOPS/NETWORKING. SEMINARS TO DEVELOP PROFESSIONAL SKILLS ARE ARRANGED FOR BY PMI AND ATTENDED BY 100 TO 200 PROFESSIONALS YEARLY. ONCE AGAIN, DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC ISSUES, THE SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS WERE HELD VIA ZOOM. MORE SEMINARS THAN USUAL HAD BEEN ABLE TO BE PRESENTED THIS WAY..
PROJECT MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATION WORKSHOPS AND STUDY GROUPS ARE HELD TWO OR THREE TIMES PER YEAR, THESE CLASSES AND STUDY SESSIONS PREPARE PROJECT MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONALS FOR THEIR CERTIFICATION EXAMS. THEY ARE ATTENDED BY APPROXIMATELY 50 TO 100 PEOPLE ANNUALLY. DURING 2021 THESE PROGRAMS AND WORKSHOPS WERE REMOTELY CONDUCTED.
