THE YELLOWSTONE RIVER PARKS ASSOCIATION IS AN ORGANIZATION THAT MAKES THE MOST OF THE YELLOWSTONE RIVER, ITS BANKS, AND ENVIRONS FOR RECREATION, NATURE, STUDY, TOURISM, EDUCATION, COMMERCE, ECOLOGY, AND SPORT. YELLOWSTONE RIVER PARKS ASSOCIATION PRECIPITATES, COORDINATES, AND PROMOTES PROJECTS AND EVENTS WHICH OPEN UP THE BEAUTY AND USEFULNESS OF THE RIVER TO ALL OUR RESIDENTS AND VISITORS.

YELLOWSTONE RIVER PARKS ASSOCIATION CONTINUES TO DEVELOP AND ENLARGE JOHN H. DOVER MEMORIAL PARK WITH THE GOAL OF MAKING IT A SIGNATURE PARK IN YELLOWSTONE COUNTY AND THE STATE OF MONTANA. THIS WORK INCLUDES NEW CONSTRUCTION, REPAIRS AND IMPROVEMENTS TO THE PROPERTY. TWO MOON PARK SAW ADDITIONAL MAINTENANCE DURING THE YEAR, INCLUDING UPDATES TO THE CARETAKER'S HOUSE AND IRRIGATION SYSTEM. VARIOUS LOCATIONS HAD A FOCUS OF HAND WATERING RECENTLY PLANTED TREES AND SHRUBS. WEED CONTROL AND RECURRING TRAIL MOWING WAS A FOCUS AS WELL. MANY BENCHES WERE INSTALLED AND BATHROOM FACILITIES IMPROVED. THE ASSOCIATION SEEKS OPPORTUNITIES TO PARTNER WITH ENTITIES IN WAYS THAT ENSURE AND INCREASE PUBLIC ACCESS TO THE YELLOWSTONE RIVER.
