ARIEL COMMUNITY ACADEMY - ARIEL EDUCATION INITIATIVE HELPS SUPPORT THE OVERALL OPERATIONS AT ARIEL COMMUNITY ACADEMY, A CHICAGO PUBLIC SCHOOL, THROUGH SUPPLEMENTAL STAFF AND GENERAL FUNDING. THE ORGANIZATION'S GOAL IS TO INFUSE A UNIQUE FIANCIAL LITERACY CURRICULUM INTO THE ACADEMY AND CREATE AN INNOVATIVE MODEL FOR OTHER PUBLIC SCHOOLS TO FOLLOW.
ARIEL EXTENDED DAY PROGRAM - THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES BEFORE AND AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS AND SUPPORT AT ARIEL COMMUNITY ACADEMY, OFFERING VARIOUS ACADEMIC, CULTURAL, ATHLETIC AND SOCIALACTIVITIES.
INVESTMENT PROGRAM - STUDENTS AT ARIEL COMMUNITY ACADEMY ARE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO INVEST REAL MONEY AND CONTROL A PORTION OF THEIR OWN CLASS PORTFOLIO. ECONOMIC CONCEPTS ARE TAUGHT AT ALL GRADE LEVELS AND THROUGHOUT ALL SUBJECT AREAS AT THE SCHOOL AND EXTEND BEYOND THE CLASSROOM AND INTO THE COMMUNITY THROUGH PARENT OUTREACH AND SEMINARS.
