THE SOCIETY EXISTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF PRESERVING LOCAL HISTORICAL STRUCTURES FOR PUBLIC EXHIBITION, EDUCATING CITIZENS ON THE VALUE OF PRESERVING THE HERITAGE OF THE NORTHVILLE COMMUNITY, BRING TOGETHER THOSE PEOPLE INTERESTED IN THE HISTORY OF THE NORTHVILLE REGION AND MAINTAINS AND PROTECTS A COLLECTION OF HISTORICAL STRUCTURES KNOWN AS THE MILL RACE HISTORICAL VILLAGE.
