THE EXEMPT PURPOSE OF ASMH IS TO A) PROVIDE AN INTERCHANGE OF IDEAS PERTINENT TO HISTOTECHNOLOGY AS IT RELATES TO MOHS MICROGRAPHIC SURGERY; B) ADVANCE PROFESSIONAL GROWTH, STANDARDS KNOWLEDGE AND PERFORMANCE IN MOHS HISTOTECHNOLOGY THROUGH CONTINUING AND FORMAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS; C) CREATE MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING AND COOPERATION BETWEEN THE MEMBERS OF THE ACMS, OTHER ALLIED PROFESSIONALS AND PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS AND THE PUBLIC; D) SAFEGUARD THE STANDARDS OF HISTOTECHNOLOGY FOR PROCESSING MICROGRAPHIC SURGERY SPECIMENTS; AND E) ENCOURAGE RESEARCH IN THE FIELD OF MOHS HISTOTECHNOLOGY.

THE 2022 ANNUAL MEETING WAS HELD IN CONJUNCTION WITH ACMS IN PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA WHERE ATTENDEES WERE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN VARIOUS EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS, WORKSHOPS AND EXHIBITS DEALING WITH MOHS HISTOTECHNOLOGY.


OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES


THE MOHS TECHNICIAN QUALITY ASSURANCE (MTQA) TRAINING INITIATIVE IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE IMPROVED SLIDE PREPARATION TECHNIQUE TO MOHS TECHNICIANS TO FURTHER ENHANCE THE PERFORMANCE AND QUALITY OF WORK.
