THE EMERGENCY NURSES ASSOCIATION FOUNDATION IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT SUPPORTS THE GLOBAL EMERGENCY NURSING COMMUNITY AND THE PATIENTS THEY SERVE THROUGH EDUCATION, RESEARCH AND PHILANTHROPIC ENDEAVORS.

THE FOUNDATION AWARDED 96 ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS TOTALING $370,500. 11 SCHOLARSHIPS WERE AWARDED IN THE NON-RN CATEGORY. 16 SCHOLARSHIPS WERE AWARDED IN THE UNDERGRADUATE CATEGORY. 40 SCHOLARSHIPS WERE AWARDED IN THE GRADUATE CATEGORY. 29 SCHOLARSHIPS WERE AWARDED IN THE DOCTORAL CATEGORY. THE FOUNDATION AWARDED 98 CONTINUING EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIPS TOTALING $66,291 82 CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIPS TO MEMBERS ATTENDING THE ENA ANNUAL CONFERENCE. 8 CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIPS TO INTERNATIONAL MEMBERS ATTENDING THE ENA ANNUAL CONFERENCE. 2 CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENT NURSES FROM NSNA ATTENDING THE ENA ANNUAL CONFERENCE. 6 SCHOLARSHIPS TO ATTEND AN EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM TO THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES.

THIS PROJECT WAS APPROVED IN 2022 BUT FUNDING WAS DISIBURSED IN 2023. $6,000 WAS AWARDED TO ONE PROJECT AS THE ENA FOUNDATION AND SIGMA THETA TAU INTERNATIONAL JOINT RESEARCH GRANT: DESCRIBING PEDIATRIC ED STAFFING MODELS AND UNIT CHARACTERISTICS ONE ENA FOUNDATION RESEARCH GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $6,000 WAS GRANTED TO THE FOLLOWING PROJECT: EVALUATING THE ONCOLOGY RELATED EDUCATION NEEDS OF EMERGENCY NURSES $5,000 EMF/EMERGENCY NURSES ASSOCIATION FOUNDATION (ENAF) EVIDENCE-BASED SAFETY MEASURES FOR EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT PROFESSIONALS RESEARCH GRANT.
