KISHHEALTH SYSTEM (KHS) IS THE NON-PROFIT CORPORATE UMBRELLA FOR TWO HOSPITALS, A HOSPICE, CLINIC, HOME HEALTH CARE SERVICE, AND A HEALTH FOUNDATION PREDOMINATELY SERVING RESIDENTS OF DEKALB, KENDALL AND LASALLE COUNTIES IN ILLINOIS. THE MISSION OF THE HEALTH SYSTEM IS TO BE "THE CORNERSTONE OF HEALTH CARE FOR THE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE-THE FIRST CHOICE FOR SERVICE, COMFORT AND SAFETY. AS A COMMUNITY-OWNED HEALTH SYSTEM, THE KISH FAMILY UNSELFISHLY COMMITS TO EXCELLENCE, EDUCATION AND INNOVATION." IN ADDITION TO CONTRIBUTIONS MADE BY KISHWAUKEE HOSPITAL AND VALLEY WEST HOSPITAL TO OTHER ORGANIZATIONS WITHIN THEIR COMMUNITIES, KISH HEALTH SYSTEM CONTRIBUTED IN EXCESS OF $4,500 TO OTHER ORGANIZATIONS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY.KISHHEALTH SYSTEM EMPLOYEES CONTRIBUTED 772 HOURS OF IN-KIND SERVICE TO COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS, EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES THAT PROMOTE HEALTH AND EDUCATION.
