COMMUNITY SERVICESTHE MISSION OF NAMI SD IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH PUBLIC AWARENESS PRESENTATIONS, EDUCATION CLASSES, STRUCTURED SUPPORT GROUPS AND AN ANNUAL EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE. INFORMATION IS PROVIDED THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA, A WEEKLY PRODCAST, A WEBSITE AND QUARTERLY NEWSLETTERS, AS WELL AS COMMUNITY MEETINGS OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. WE PROVIDED ASSISTANCE TO COMMUNITY LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAININGS AND EMPLOYER MENTAL HEALTH TRAINING. WE PROVIDED MORE THAN 2000 PHONE REFERRALS. OUR ANNUAL CONFERENCE SERVED 236 INDIVIDUALS. MORE THAN 1,000 PEOPLE WERE REACHED BY ONLINE SIGNATURE PROGRAMS AND 3,000 MORE BY VIRTUAL COMMUNITY EVENTS.
